Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for accounting devices and systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components effectively.
Implement and optimize real-time operating systems (RTOS) for embedded platforms.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
Work closely with the accounting product team to understand system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols relevant to accounting software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the accounting or financial technology sector.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages with knowledge of assembly language considered a plus.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or similar.
Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded hardware architectures.
Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex embedded systems and software issues.
